At the June 23rd hearing, Dumbarton Properties Inc., the folks who own Albemarle Square inadvertently provided the audience with a humorous moment. In a letter addressed to County Principal Planner Gerald Gatobu, they asked the County to require that Arden Place developers build a fence, between their two properties. Gerald introduced the letter just as Arden Place Attorney Valerie Long was about to speak on their plans to put a road through Albemarle Square.
Gerald was kind enough to provide us with a copy of that letter (below). It doesn't sound like Dumbarton is super keen about working with Arden Place.
